Setup/Gear/Manufacturer of Instruments:
I play an alto Selmer Mark VI from 1972. I also play a little tenor and want to try out soprano and baritone.
Why did you begin studying music?
I started in the local marching band, but the leader was a jazz musician and turned it into a jazz and improvisation school for children and teenagers.[/twocol_one] [twocol_one_last]

What are you doing with music right now?
I’m going to Ski Upper Secondary School (high school), the music program. I get a lot of classical training here, but it helps on my technique. I play in a jazz quartet called Høylytt (“Loud” in Norwegian) and still attends the jazz and improvisation school. I take lessons with Norwegian jazz musicians, and I’m going to jazz summer camp at Berklee College of Music this summer.

The Norwegian saxophonists Tore Brunborg and Jan Garbarek, Lee Konitz, Dexter Gordon, Vince Guaraldi, Chet Baker

Odd André Elveland, Tore Brunborg, Hanna Paulsberg, Frøy Aagre
What do you plan on doing with music in the future?
I hope I can work with music for a living, play concerts, record albums, maybe teach… 🙂
Any additional information you would like to add?
At this point, I am working on finding my own sound, my own music and putting my life into my music, and compose. I think it’s difficult, but I don’t give up 🙂
