Setup/Gear/Manufacturer of Instruments:
I play on a Otto link 6 star hard rubber mouth piece and my saxophone is a Yamaha 62 II alto saxophone.
Why did you begin studying music?
I always liked music growing up and when in church as a younger kid I wanted to learn every instrument I could see. Even through public school I was trying to excel through music, I don’t think I can see myself doing anything else.[/twocol_one] [twocol_one_last]

What are you doing with music now?
Right now I’m going to college for music, jazz studies or performance, and working on getting auditions to various places in the WV MD area.
Who are some of your influences?
One of my biggest influences is Cannonball Adderley. His style and smoothness of playing speaks to me I think he is very creative with his soloing and melodic form. Another would have to be Stevie Wonder just because he can grab your attention with one lick an keep it the whole time.
Who have you studied with?
I’ve studied with Dr. Ed Bingham the saxophone professor at Marshall university. I will be currently studying with Kurtis Adams the jazz studies director at Shepherd University.
What would you like to do with music in the future?
What I really want to do I’d play for the Grammys and award shows like that. Another goal of mine is to have a album that people will be talking about soon. I would also like to play along side some of the new jazz artists like Grace Kelly, Christian Scott, and Esperanza Spalding.
I’m very passionate about what I do. Ill work hard even past the final performance and keep at it till I get it perfect. Fast learner and very good listener.
